Amblyopia, or LAZY EYE is the most commonly missed vision problem in children. Amblyopia is a decrease in the child’s vision that can happen even when there is no obvious problem with the structure of the eye. Only children can develop amblyopia and if it is not treated in time, it can cause permanent loss of vision.

Strabismus or squint refers to the condition of misalignment of the eyes. While one eye looks straight the other eye may turn outwards, inwards, upwards or downwards.
